Elita-1 The tummy tuck: Also called abdominoplasty, is a procedure of cosmetic surgery to remove excessive fat and skin from the lower and middle abdomen Dr Behnaz Yazdanfar. This procedure is most commonly performed for patients that have loose abdominal skin after pregnancy or major weight loss. The tummy tuck is also performed to tighten muscles and fascia that have become separated, and improve the appearance of stretch marks. To complete this procedure the surgeon forms an incision from one hip to another just above the pubic region. Another incision is cut circumscribing the navel to separate it from the circumscribing skin Dr Yazdanfar. The skin is then detached to expose the muscle wall and the fascia and muscle are tightened
with Dr Yazdanfar’s sutures. |Custom|Excess, Excessive} skin and fat are removed and a new hole is formed for the navel. The skin is sutured back in place and liposuction is used to smooth the transition zones. And, a compression dressing is applied to control swelling. Initial recuperation lasts from one to four weeks, and a complete recovery can last three to six months.
