Rhinoplasty; otherwise known as nose reshaping; or a nose job. Dr Yazdanfar Rhinoplasty is surgery on the nose to either restore its functioning in the instance of breathing complications, or as a cosmetic surgery procedure to improve the features of the nose. As a rehabilitative surgery for respiratory complications the surgical operation is customarily done by an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat Doctor), or a plastic surgeon if it is a pcosmetic surgical procedure. There four major kinds of rhinoplasty surgeries.
Incisions for closed rhinoplasty are made by Dr Yazdanfar entirely within the nose. The fleshy tissues are then separated from the underlying bone and cartilage. Once the bone and cartilage is exposed it can be reconfigured by shaving off or grafting additional bone and cartilage. Closed rhinoplasty is used on occasions when only slight reshaping is needed.
For open rhinoplasty the columella (flesh between the nostrils) is cut. This allows the surgeon to further separate the fleshy tissues from the foundational bone and cartilage laying open the anatomy of the nose to the surgeon. This surgery is utilized in cases where extensive reshaping is needed.
Secondary rhinoplasty, or revision rhinoplasty is a surgery Dr Behnaz to rectify problems from a previous surgery. It is possible that a reconstructive surgery for a breathing complication produced unsatisfactory cosmetic results, or it is possible that a procedure of cosmetic surgery resulted in a nasal obstruction that is causing respiratory problems. In any case secondary rhinoplasty is a complex surgery because of scar tissue that was created from the previous surgeries.
Filler rhinoplasty is a less invasive procedure that utilizes injectable fillers to alter the form of the nose. Once the filler is injected beneath the fleshy tissues of the nose it hardens. There are different types of fillers used, some of which last for several months, and others that are permanent.
