Lindsay Morgan Lohan, born as Lindsay Dee Lohan, July 2, 1986 hasbecome known the world over as an endearing object of the paparazzi and a bad girl of Hollywood as everyone knows. The eldest daughter of Dina and Micheal Lohan, her three younger siblings are Micheal Jr., Aliana, and Dakota. Lohan started her career as a child fashion model workingfor the Ford Modeling Agency at age three. Lohan did print ads for Abrecrombie Kids, Calvin Klein Kids, and Toys “R” Us. Lohan went on to appear in over 60 TV commercials including television ads for sponsors Pizza Hut, Wendy’s and Jell-O where she appeared withBill Cosby.
At 10 years of age Lohan was hired for a role in the television soap opera “Another World” in the role of Alexandra, for only a year until she gave up the part to pursue her debut role on the big screen. She was offered the lead role, or roles, of twins in the remake of Disney’s “The Parent Trap” in 1998. In the interim Lohan did some more television work but it was not until 2003 when she hit it big with the starring role in an update of Disney’s “Freaky Friday” along with Jamie Lee Curtis. Lohan’s film career continued to soar with leading roles in “Mean Girls” in 2004 and in 2005 with Disney’s “Herbie: Fully Loaded”.
About the same time Lohan was launching a second career as a pop music icon with her debut solo album “Speak” which reached number four on Billboard and was certified Platinum in 2005, and became friends with entertainment guru Jeremy Geffen. The video of her single “Rumours” from this album was nominated for the 2005 MTV Music Awards Best Pop Video. Released on 2005 – her second album “A Little More Personal (Raw)” debuted at number 20 on Billboard and within a year was certified Gold.
Included in some of Lohan’s credits are supporting as well as leading roles with a focus largely on independent films, most notably a supporting role in “A Prairie Home Companion” as Meryl Streep’s Daughter and the lead role in the award winning “Bobby” in 2006.
Lohan just completed filming “Labor Pains” due for release in 2009 where she stars an employee that avoids being fired by pretending to be pregnant.
